Attractions & Activities Near Our Riverview Restaurant
Just a five minute walk from our riverview restaurant, MainStrasse Village in Covington, KY is the perfect place to enjoy a pleasant afternoon of window shopping and boutique hopping. This friendly community also offers a walking tour, rich in history, and a number of fun annual events, such as The World’s Longest Yardsale, the Oak, Toast & Two Aging Barrels event and the Austin-Healey Automobile Show. Once the sun goes down, MainStrasse Village is also home to plenty of bars and late night entertainment for adults.
The Cincinnati Opera is just a quick hop across the Ohio River and is the second oldest opera company in the United States. Housed inside the newly renovated Music Hall, a beautiful National Historic Landmark, guests enjoy a variety of vocal performances and symphonic music from some of the world’s most talented musicians. During the summer visitors can also attend Opera in the Park at Washington Park, just north of Music Hall.
National Underground Railroad Freedom Center
More than 100,000 visitors visit the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center each year to experience the exhibits focused on freedom, human rights and those who fought for the freedom of all during the Underground Railroad era. A seven minute drive from our riverview restaurant, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center is an attraction that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Located 10 minutes northeast of our riverview restaurant, Newport on the Levee is a fantastic alternative to shopping at the mall. This retail entertainment center located in Newport, Kentucky is home to an aquarium, a bowling alley, the Funny Bone Comedy Club, and countless specialty shops. Ideal for visitors and residents of all ages, there’s always something fun to do at Newport on the Levee.
Devou Park in Covington, KY is a little further from Eighteen at the Radisson – a 30 minute drive, to be exact. But it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon outdoors before heading to our riverview restaurant near Cincinnati. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, you’ll love the biking/walking trails, fishing areas, and a number of other recreational activities onsite, including tennis, golf and theater/symphony performances.
